Pilot Mountain Turquoise comes from Mineral County, Nevada, producing a wide color range from bright blue to deep green — sometimes grading from blue to green within a single stone. Matrix runs from dark brown limonite to rich spiderweb in red, brown, and black; the mine is also one of the very few in the world known to produce dendrites, fossilized manganese plant patterns locked inside the Turquoise.
